Nintendo Switch 2 setup guide
1. Unpacking & Setup
Inside your bundle you’ll find:
- Nintendo Switch 2 Console
- 2 detachable Joy-Con controllers
- HDMI cable
- Power adapter
- Joy-Con grip
- Charging dock
🔹 Single Player (Handheld Mode)
- Take the console out of the case.
- Slide both Joy-Cons onto the sides of the console.
- Press the power button on top of the device.
- Play directly on the built-in screen—no TV needed.
🔹 Multiplayer (TV Mode)
- Place the dock next to your TV and connect the HDMI and power cables.
- Insert the console into the dock (screen facing front).
- Turn on the TV and switch to the correct HDMI input.
- Remove the Joy-Cons and pair them by pressing L + R on each controller.
- Launch Mario Kart World and select “Multiplayer” from the main menu.

2. Account & Game Access
- The console comes pre-loaded with Mario Kart World—ready to play out of the box.
- You may use the Monis account or log in with your own Nintendo account.
⚠️ Important: Please do not change any account credentials or system settings. Modifying the console setup may result in a US $60 refurbishing fee. Be sure to log out of your personal account before returning the console.
3. Multiplayer & Game Info
- Mario Kart World supports up to 4 players on the same screen when the console is connected to a TV.
- Attach both Joy-Cons to play solo or hand one to a friend to race together.
- For 3–4 players, the additional Joy-Con controllers pack is required.
- Use the “Multiplayer” option from the Mario Kart World main menu to get started.
How to Return the Nintendo Switch 2
- Turn Off and Unplug
Hold the power button to shut down. Unplug all cables and remove any game cards.
- Clean and Pack
Wipe the device and accessories gently. Pack the console, dock, Joy-Cons, power adapter, HDMI cable, and any included accessories securely in the packaging box.
Important Notes
- ❌ Do not delete the pre-installed game.
- 🎮 Return all accessories (console, Joy-Cons, cables, dock, packaging) to avoid additional charges.
- ⚠️ System changes or resets may result in a US $60 refurbishing fee.
