How to Handle a Missed Payment and Settle Outstanding Charges



If you’ve received a notification about a missed payment, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you settle your outstanding charges and avoid additional fees.

1. Payment Notification Details



You will receive a message informing you about the missed payment. The message will also outline the timeline for settlement and the consequences of non-payment, such as daily reminder fees, pickup fees, and potential legal action.

Here’s an example of what the notification looks like:

You have 48 hours to pay: $10 (Reminder fee $0)

2. How to Settle Your Outstanding Payment



Click the link in the WhatsApp message or the email, or follow these steps to make your payment:

Log in to your account at my.monis.rent.

Navigate to the Invoices section on the order.

This is where all your pending payments will be listed.

The outstanding balance and payment deadline will be clearly shown.

Select the unpaid invoice and click Pay Now.

You can choose from available payment methods or update your payment details if necessary.





3. What Happens If You Don’t Pay on Time?



If payment is not settled within the stipulated time, the following steps will apply:

48 Hours: A dispute will be opened.
3 Days: A $5 daily reminder fee will be added to your total.
5 Days: We will arrange a pickup of the items for an additional $20 pickup fee.
7 Days: If the total amount remains unpaid, legal action may be taken, including a report to local authorities.
