WAVLINK Docking Station – Setup Guide
Model: UG64PD25PRO-B1 / WL-UG69PD25 Pro Series
This guide explains how to install, connect, and use your WAVLINK docking station.
System Requirements
- CPU: Intel i5 or higher
- RAM: 4 GB or more
- Windows 7 / 8 / 10 / 11 (latest updates)
- macOS 10.x or newer
- USB-C port with full functionality:
- Data Transfer
- USB-C Power Delivery
- Video Alternate Mode
If your USB-C port does not support these features, external displays may not work.
Step 0 – Install the Driver (Required)
This dock uses DisplayLink technology. Install the driver before connecting the dock.

- Open the link.
- Choose your operating system (Windows or macOS).
- Download the driver.

Step 1 – Connect Power
- Plug the power adapter into DC IN (20V/8A) on the dock.
- Plug the adapter into a wall socket.
The dock requires external power for stable multi-display operation.
Step 2 – Connect to Your Laptop
Connect the dock to your laptop using the USB-C (Host, PD100W) port.
- The host USB-C port can deliver up to 100W charging to your laptop.
Step 3 – Connect Monitors
The dock supports up to three external displays.
In each “Display Group”, HDMI and DisplayPort cannot be used at the same time.

Single Display
- Connect your monitor to:
- HDMI 1, or
- HDMI 2 / DisplayPort 2, or
- HDMI 3 / DisplayPort 3

Dual Display
- Monitor 1 → HDMI 1
- Monitor 2 → HDMI 2 / DisplayPort 2 or HDMI 3 / DisplayPort 3

Triple Display
- Monitor 1 → HDMI 1
- Monitor 2 → HDMI 2 / DisplayPort 2
- Monitor 3 → HDMI 3 / DisplayPort 3

Step 4 – Connect Accessories
Use the dock’s ports for:
- USB-A (10 Gbps) – keyboard, mouse, drives
- USB-C (10 Gbps) – modern peripherals
- Gigabit Ethernet – wired network

Display Settings
Windows
- Right-click → Display Settings
- Choose:
- Duplicate
- Extend

Troubleshooting
Dock gets warm
- This is normal during operation. Place the dock in an open area for heat dissipation.
No display
- Ensure the driver is installed.
- Restart your computer.
- Check that your USB-C port supports data + video.
- Verify monitor input (HDMI / DP).
No power to laptop
- Confirm your laptop supports USB-C Power Delivery.
Cannot extend displays
- Verify the dock appears in Task Manager / System Info.
- Reinstall or update the driver.
