Apple Mac Studio M1 setup guide

1. Unpacking and Setup



Carefully remove the Apple Mac Studio, power cable, and accessories from the packaging.
Place the device on a stable surface near your monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
Connect the device to power using the provided cable.
Attach peripherals:

Monitor: Connect via HDMI or USB-C/Thunderbolt.

Keyboard and Mouse: Use Bluetooth or connect via USB.

Turn on the device by pressing the power button on the back.

2. Account Login



Customer Account:
Log in using the pre-installed Customer Account.
The login credentials are available in your order details at [my.monis.rent/orders](https://my.monis.rent/orders).

3. Connecting Your Apple ID (iCloud)



Open System Settings and go to Apple ID.
Log in with your personal Apple ID to enable iCloud, App Store access, and personalized features.

4. Using the Mac



You are free to install apps and make adjustments to suit your needs.
Important: Do not change the Customer Account name or password, and do not modify system settings outside of your requirements.

How to Return



1. Backup Your Data



Ensure all personal data is backed up using an external drive or iCloud.
Remember: All files and settings will be erased upon return.

2. Sign Out of Apple ID (iCloud)



Open System Settings > Apple ID.
Click Sign Out and follow the prompts.

Enter your Apple ID password to disable Find My Mac and remove the Activation Lock.
Verify that your Apple ID is completely removed.

To check: Restart the Mac, and confirm there’s no Apple ID linked in System Settings.

3. Reset Installed Apps and Settings



Uninstall any apps or services you installed (optional).
Do not delete the Customer Account or make changes to the Macintosh HD Admin Account.

4. Clean and Repack the Device



Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid using cleaning agents directly on the Mac.
Carefully repack the Mac Mini/Mac Studio, power cable, and all accessories in the original packaging.

Important Notes



Remove Apple ID: Make sure your Apple ID is signed out before returning the device. If we can't access the Mac and need to reset it, a $50 refurbishing fee will be charged.
Complete Packaging: Missing accessories or packaging will result in extra fees.
Report Issues: Inform us immediately about any damage or problems. Do not attempt unauthorized repairs.
