Sony PlayStation®5 setup guide (rented via Monis)

1. Unpacking and Setup

Remove the PlayStation 5 console, controller, HDMI cable, power cable, and USB-C charging cable from the box.
Place the console on a flat, stable surface. It can be used either vertically or horizontally.
Connect the power cable to the back of the console and plug it into a power source.
Use the HDMI cable to connect the PS5 to your TV or monitor.
Power on the console by pressing the power button or the PS button on the controller.
Pair the controller by connecting it to the PS5 with the USB-C cable and pressing the PS button.

2. Account Login

You may use our pre-installed Monis Rent guest account or sign in with your own PlayStation Network account.

Important: Do not change the password of the guest account, or modify system-level settings.
If you sign in with your personal account, remember to log out before returning the console.

3. Using the Console

You may download games using your PlayStation Network account or insert a disc.
Do not uninstall pre-installed games or apps.

Important Notes

Do Not Change Passwords: If using our guest account, do not change the login credentials. Changing them may incur a refurbishing fee of $60.
Missing Accessories: All original accessories (controller, cables, packaging) must be returned to avoid additional charges.
