Ergonomic Office Chair setup guide

How to Setup

1. Delivery and Placement

The Ergonomic Office Chair is delivered fully assembled and ready for use.

Carefully remove the chair from its packaging and place it on a flat, stable floor surface.

Ensure:

  • The chair can roll freely on the floor
  • There is enough space behind the chair for reclining
  • No packaging materials remain under or around the wheels

No tools or assembly are required.

2. Initial Configuration

No software or app setup is required.

Before first use:

  • Sit on the chair to activate the gas lift
  • Check that all adjustment mechanisms move freely
  • Adjust the chair height so both feet rest flat on the floor

Important Note:

Do not disassemble any parts of the chair or remove pre-installed components.

3. Using the Chair

Adjusting Seat Height

Use the lever located under the seat:

  • Sit on the chair
  • Pull the lever upwards to lower the seat
  • Release the lever when your desired height is reached

Your knees should be at roughly a 90-degree angle with feet flat on the floor.

Reclining & Tilt Lock

The chair supports a reclining backrest with lock function:

  • Pull the tilt lever to unlock reclining
  • Lean back gently to recline
  • Push the lever back to lock the chair at the desired angle

Always recline slowly and avoid sudden movements.

Adjustable Armrests (4D)

The armrests can be adjusted in multiple directions:

  • Height: Lift or lower to support relaxed shoulders
  • Forward / Backward: Slide to align with your desk
  • Left / Right: Adjust inward or outward for comfort
  • Rotation: Rotate slightly to match arm position

Adjust armrests so your elbows rest naturally at desk height.

Headrest Adjustment

The headrest can be adjusted:

  • Up and down for neck height
  • Tilted to support the natural curve of your neck

This helps reduce neck strain during long sitting sessions.

Retractable Leg Rest

The chair includes a built-in leg rest:

  • Pull the leg rest out gently from under the seat
  • Extend fully when reclining
  • Push it back in after use until it clicks into place

Do not sit or stand on the leg rest.

Important Note:

Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended weight limit. Avoid leaning sideways or applying uneven force to the chair.

How to Return

1. Remove Personal Items

  • Remove cushions, covers, or personal accessories
  • Ensure no cables, straps, or add-ons are attached

2. Clean and Prepare

Wipe the chair with a soft, dry cloth only.

Do not use liquids, sprays, or cleaning agents on the mesh or mechanisms.

If original packaging is available:

  • Repack the chair carefully in its original box

If no packaging is available:

  • Ensure the chair is clean, intact, and ready for safe transport

Important Notes

  • No Disassembly: The chair must not be taken apart or modified.
  • Normal Wear vs Damage: Excessive wear, broken armrests, damaged mesh, or malfunctioning mechanisms may result in repair or refurbishing fees.
  • Report Issues Early: Any unusual noises, recline issues, or mechanical problems must be reported immediately.
  • Leg Rest Care: Damage caused by standing or sitting on the leg rest is not considered normal wear.
